Art Classes
Artworks Fine Art Studio offers year-round art classes in Bethesda, Potomac, and Falls Church for kids, teens, and adults. Students explore drawing, painting, ceramics, and mixed media in a supportive, creative environment.
Programs for Every Age
We offer structured art programs for every age group, from young beginners to advanced teen artists and adults developing their skills.
Youth
Youth Art Classes are designed for students ages 6 through 12 who want to explore their passion for art outside of school.
Teens
Teen Art Classes welcome students ages 13 through 17 who want a focused studio environment, in addition this class is perfect for refining and adding variety to college admission portfolios.
Adults
Adult Art Classes encourage deeper connections with art through focusing on comprehensive skill-building and taking in new perspectives.

Questions
Is there a free trial available?
Yes! Artworks offers free introductory art classes for kids ages 6-17 at all our locations. Introductory classes give each student a chance to see what Artworks is all about before committing. Students do not need any materials for their introductory class. Adults may attend an introductory class for a one-time fee.
How does billing work?
Our program is available throughout the year, for instance we bill monthly. The monthly tuition fee is covers four classes, and occasionally we offer a fifth class for free, depending on the month. If you join in the middle of the month, we charge per class for the remaining classes.
What is your cancellation policy?
We understand that sometimes students may need to miss their classes, and we always aim to make accommodations while ensuring minimal disruption to their creative progress. We kindly request that you inform our staff via phone or email in advance if you need to cancel a class.
Can I pause enrollment?
Certainly. We have an automatic billing system which allows you to pay for services on a monthly basis. If you will be unable to attend multiple classes in the upcoming month, simply email us before the first of the month.
Do I need to purchase materials?
All students are responsible for the purchase of their own materials. We offer professional grade materials for sale at Artworks. We can also store your materials at our locations for each class.
Can I make-up missed classes?
Yes, you can! But courtesy make-up classes can be scheduled over the phone or via email. Make-up classes are only acquired by cancellations which are made before the start of the class. They can only be scheduled during months that a student is currently enrolled.
